We are thrilled to share that Vita Zeltser is joining the VECINA team as the Kilpatrick Townsend Visiting Pro Bono Fellow.

Vita Zeltser is Counsel in the Atlanta office of the law firm of Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton LLP, and a member of the firm’s Technology, Privacy & Cybersecurity team.  Her regular practice focuses on data privacy compliance, e-commerce, and commercial transactions.  She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and Emory University.  Vita was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine and immigrated to the U.S. as a child with her family, and speaks Russian.

Vita was looking for ways to be of professional utility to the refugee crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. She is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with VECINA to leverage their deep expertise in immigrant justice advocacy and mentoring attorneys on pro bono immigration work to help address U.S. immigration issues impacting Ukrainians seeking entry into the U.S. During her time at VECINA, Vita plans to focus on developing educational materials for pro bono attorneys and the public.

Welcome, Vita! We are so thrilled to have you, and deeply thankful to Kilpatrick Townsend for allowing you to join us as our Visiting Pro Bono Fellow!

If you’d like to send Vita a hello, a word of encouragement, or an inquiry about issues related to Ukraine, you can find her at ukraine@vecina.org.
