Legal advocates across the nation are on the front lines of the fight for immigrant justice. While rooted in supporting Texas advocates, the Texas Immigration Legal Resiliency Project has expanded into a sustainable, nationwide support system designed to help you navigate the complexities of high-stakes defensive asylum cases, enhance your practice, and connect with a community of your peers—no matter where you practice in the U.S.

Strengthening the Pro Bono Pipeline

This project addresses the systemic challenges that can lead to practitioner burnout and attrition. We are focused on ensuring a high standard of practice and providing the resources you need to thrive, which in turn helps thousands of immigrants nationwide.

A Proven Model, Expanding Coast to Coast

This initiative builds on VECINA’s successful national mentorship programs. We have already assisted over 300 individual legal service providers from 224 different organizations, responded to more than 750 technical assistance requests, and provided over 130 hours of specialized mentorship. Now, we are bringing this established expertise directly to immigration practitioners across the country.
